Leah Kate's Latest

Well I have failed miserably at keeping this blog updated, but it is only because I have been so busy trying to keep up with the princess. Leah Kate has been so funny and learned so much in the past month. We finally put up her swing and we spend lots of time outside in the swing. Leah calls her swing "meesh" we believe this is her effort to say "push" if not then she is just developing her own secret language. We ran into a slight problem earlier this month, Leah liked the "s" word a little too much, and was using it a little to often and in the right context so Cody and I corrected the problem with lots of "darn its" "dang its" and Leah's personal favorite "GOSH" which she now uses in place of the "s" word. A few weeks ago Leah went to Birmingham with her Sassy to visit at Mary Margaret, who Leah now calls "MO" or "Mar Marg" They went to the park and the zoo and Leah loved it. Leah has also encountered many critters over the past few weeks, and bless them all... Crickets seem to be her favorite and none of them have survived her. Lizard earrings and lobster kisses are some other things she has conquered... THe latest thing we are working on is using the potty. It's going ok however Minnie Mouse stays on the potty more than Leah because Leah has fun making sure everybody else pottys. Leah's MawMaw and Papaw bought her a Grover from Sesame Street and she doesn't go anywhere without him. She calls him "Gro-gro" Leah certainly keeps Cody and I busy and we love every second of it

Happy Valentine's Day

Someone is excited for Valentine's Day! If you want to see the rest of the Queen's pictures you can go to http://www.photoreflect.com/store/ThumbAccess.aspx?e=7844060 the password is "nude"
Big thank you to Scruggs Photography for always doing such an amazing job on our pictures! In other news, Leah Kate has a new love for honey buns, and her aunt Jenn Jenn brought her some new books tonight. She wouldn't read them to us, but she did read them to "mo" and her babies. We made many efforts to teach her some new songs, but of course all she wanted to do was hear "Zacchaeus" I will be so glad when she discovers another song! Cody and I will be traveling to Wilmington, North Carolina this weekend to visit our good friend and Marine Keith Cobb. He leaves later this month going overseas so keep him in your prayers. Well that's all for now. Bye :)

We've got some catching up to do....

So, just to catch you up. Leah Katherine Williams graced us with her presence on July 20, 2009, and was welcomed by the greatest friends and family anybody could ask for. It's overwhelming how many people love her, she's a very blessed little girl. Cody and I married in Las Vegas on September 3, 2010 and followed it up with a reception on October 16, 2010. It was an event that will never be forgotten to say the least.  Christmas was wonderful of course Leah Kate got more toys than we have room for :) Cody and I just celebrated birthdays.  I was the big 2-5 while Cody turned 23.  Leah Kate just turned 18 months and she also just began the early stages of the TERRIBLE TWO's :)  I blame most of this on her grandmother's and aunts who let her do whatever she likes.  Her favorite things right now are Barney, Elmo "Mo", Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, eating goldfish "fishes" and trix "tix"  Her Sassy taught her the song "Zacchaeus was a wee little man" and we have all sang it until we are blue in the face, but she never gets tired of it.  She also has an obsession with bows and shoes, so as mean as she is she is still a "girly girl."  Well hope this gets everyone caught up. I am going to try and get on here a couple of times a week to keep everyone up to date on Leah Kate, Cody and I are ok with the fact that she is all anyone wants to hear about :)
